Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave therapy (also know as extracorporeal shockwave) is a non-invasive treatment method that generates shockwaves most commonly through sound waves and pressure waves that can be applied to areas of pain and injury. The goal of this treatment is to help tissue heal and reduce pain. Shockwave therapy may be a viable option for patients who have not responded to more conservative treatments.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is the practice of inserting thin monofilament needles, similar to those used in acupuncture. The needles are inserted muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and scar tissue to help reduce and manage musculoskeletal pain syndromes. Dry needling can provide immediate pain relief in the area being treated. Common conditions treated with dry needling: low back pain, knee pain, tennis and golfer’s elbow, neck pain, carpal tunnel, hamstring strain, sciatica, and various other muscular strains. Dry needling is not acupuncture.

“After a previous back/work injury, and multiple back injections, acupuncturists, and chiros; I was referred to see Dr. Jess. Shortly after seeing Dr. Jess, my back started healing, nerve pain disappeared, and she helped me get “back” on track and back to work teaching and training. I have seen her now for several years, 2 pregnancies and kids later. She is a miracle worker and a wealth of knowledge! I’ve also referred so many happy clients her way because she can turn a bad/angry body into a happy one!”
