Structure & Function Dry Needling (SFDN) is a system of dry needling which utilizes the most recent science and evidence in dry needling paired with rehabilitation and performance of the professional athlete. The SFDN philosophy includes looking at each patient as a whole and working with the entire body to create and optimal environment for healing, pain relief, and performance training. Structure & Function is a world leader in dry needling, rehab and performance education.
“I had always been skeptical of chiropractors before meeting Dr. Jess. The idea of getting my neck and back cracked didn’t appeal to me and I assumed chiropractors mainly catered to auto accidents and older people. Jess was different though. I knew she had trained at Life College and that meant that she was familiar with rugby athletes and their rehab/PT needs. The fact that she was also a JiuJitsu athlete told me she would understand my PT needs due to my overcompensating training approach to make amends for a lifetime of poor fitness and health choices.
I also knew that she would understand that telling me to “stop training JiuJitsu” was never an option. Jess has helped me come back from injuries in record time and always adapts the treatment to my needs and capabilities. She’s also helped me improve flexibility and strength through what I assume is magic, but in reality is a cutting-edge evidence-based treatment approach.”
